Lakshmi,
and the Question That Started It All
Lakshmi is a survivor. When she needed blood urgently, her family discovered how difficult it was to find safe, compatible blood for pets and how much depended on luck, last minute calls, and informal networks.
15 Yr
Experience
- Donor safety and wellbeing always come first
- Every transfusion is clinically screened and vet supervised
- Caregivers are supported with clarity, not chaos
That experience revealed a serious gap in veterinary care. There was no structured, ethical system to connect pet donors with animals in need. Animal Lifeline Network was created to change that. ALN is built on one simple belief. No pet should lose their life because blood was unavailable or unsafe.

Animal Lifeline Network exists to ensure that no pet’s survival depends on last-minute calls, uncertainty, or unsafe practices.
We bring structure, safety, and accountability to pet blood donation across every step of the process.
Donor Safety First
Every donor animal is clinically screened, vet supervised, and protected at every stage. Donations are planned carefully to minimise stress and prioritise long-term wellbeing.
Ethical and Voluntary Donations
Donations are always voluntary and informed. Caregivers are educated, supported, and never pressured. Ethics are central to how ALN operates.
Transparent and Coordinated Care
From request to transfusion, every step is clearly documented and responsibly coordinated. Caregivers and vets know exactly what is happening and when.
